Friends By Karen Marie of http://www.iamtheprincess.com I discovered last year after my best friend since I was 5 died horribly in a crash. We had been best friends for 37 years. I decided to start tracking down my really good friends that I had all the way threw school and growing up. The First one Kim, it took forever to find her and she had moved down south. The second was Dede, I know she is in the area but still have to touch base with her. The hardest one was my dear friend Brenda. I found her by accident. I had been searching for her for a long time. And I ran into her parents who were back up north for a visit. I realize how much I miss my friends and need them. I am trying very hard to get us all back together again at least once. With the economy being so bad and 2 of us up north in New York and 2 down in the Carolina's, it doesn't seem like it will be possible in the near future. I have learned good friends are those that listen, hold your hand and cry with you. They stand by you no matter what. They were picked, not like family where you can not pick them. These are bloodlines formed by love, caring and endurance. I am 42 now and finally realized how important my friends truly are. We may be separated by time and miles, but will still pull together if one of us needs something.
